Jellyfin LiveTV Playback Error Playback failed due to a server error.

I can watch my channels on the ersatztv server, but when I go to my Jellyfin server and select the channels, I get the error: Playback Error
Playback failed due to a server error.

I've set this up previously and it was working, but I had to rebuild my ersatztv docker and lost all my settings. Created a new API key on jellyfin and rebuilt the m3u and xmltv links. Still get that error.

I just updated my Jellyfin to 10.9.2 and am suddenly having this issue as well. :/

Update: It's now sometimes working on the same PC that the server is running on after refreshing the guide data, but I'm getting "Playback failed due to a fatal player error" on another PC, and nothin' on any other devices.

Another update: it seems to be working fine with Channels DVR, so this definitely appears to be a Jellyfin issue.

Even more strange: the Jellyfin Android TV app appears to work fine on an Android device, but not the regular Jellyfin app. What the...

toupee Interesting. I just tried it from my android TV and the channels are working as well.
Just not from the jellyfin Browser UI. I too am running

Please try with the latest ETV develop build; I believe this was fixed with https://github.com/ErsatzTV/ErsatzTV/pull/1683 and will be part of the 0.8.7 release.

fellowguy that docker tag changes all the time. Please paste your full ETV version found below the left menu

That was it. I downloaded the new version, and the channel is working in jellyfin now. THanks!
