Channel Pause & Resume rule?

I would like to see a per channel Pause & resume rule that could be added to any or all channels. The general idea is to Pause at whatever point in a TV Show the player is in whenever the channel is changed or the player is shut down.
The TV Show would resume whenever that channel is selected again after the player is started.
It is the one thing that is keeping me on an old version of PseudoTV and Kodi 17.6. I would switch to ETV and become a paying patron to get this feature implemented.

DTV had something like this added shortly before development was abandoned there. The one catch is that the XMLTV will be incorrect frequently in between the refresh periods by the client.

This feature has been added to the latest develop release with https://github.com/ErsatzTV/ErsatzTV/pull/1790. It will also be included in the next full release.
